Senior Scientist – Cellular & Molecular Oncology

We are seeking a Senior Scientist in cellular and molecular oncology with deep expertise in immunobiology and hematology to lead R&D efforts focused on cancer monitoring and cell therapy solutions. This role will drive the design and optimization of assays and technologies for rare-cell analysis and therapy response. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in immuno-oncology, rare-cell biology, and translational research, and will play a key role in shaping scientific strategy and innovation. In addition to R&D, the role involves close collaboration with the lab team to guide experimental execution, optimize protocols, and troubleshoot technical challenges. You will also engage directly with clients, serving as the technical lead to understand their needs, communicate scientific insights, and deliver tailored solutions—ensuring CellsBin’s technologies address real-world challenges in oncology and cell therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Assay Development

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of novel assays for rare-cell analysis (in cancer and cell therapy)
  • Collaborate with the technology team to build and refine innovative tools addressing oncology challenges

Data Analysis & Product Insight

  • Analyze complex biological datasets to extract actionable insights
  • Inform product refinement and contribute to the development of advanced capabilities in CellsBin’s platforms

Experimental Execution & Troubleshooting

  • Partner with lab teams to implement protocols, optimize workflows, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Ensure experimental accuracy, reproducibility, and alignment with project goals

Client Engagement & Technical Support

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance on product applications
  • Collaborate with clients to tailor solutions to their cancer and cell therapy monitoring needs

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior scientists and lab personnel, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-driven work environment
  • Support cross-functional teams to accelerate research initiatives and translational impact

We're Looking For

  • PhD in Immuno-Oncology, Molecular Biology, Hematology, or related field
  • 3+ years of postdoc or industry experience in cellular/molecular oncology, rare-cell biology, or cell therapy
  • Proven R&D experience in assay development for cancer monitoring or therapeutic applications  Proficient in flow cytometry, PCR, and other molecular biology techniques
  • Strong background in immuno-oncology and hematology
  • Effective collaborator with hands-on lab experience and protocol optimization
  • Clear communicator, able to present complex science to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability with a focus on innovation
