WAREHOUSE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION Warehouse Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, But Not Limited To:

Job Overview: As the Warehouse Manager at Sendero Provisions Co., you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and directly managing both warehouse associates and team leads. You will drive operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, and develop team members while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational management to achieve company objectives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Directly supervise warehouse associates and team leads
• Create and manage staff schedules across all shifts
• Recruit, interview, and hire warehouse team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide development opportunities
• Address employee concerns and maintain positive team culture

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
• Establish and maintain operational KPIs and productivity standards
• Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and replacement schedules

Inventory Control:

• Oversee inventory accuracy and control procedures
• Coordinate regular cycle counts and annual inventories
• Analyze inventory reports and address discrepancies
• Work with Product Manager on inventory planning and storage optimization

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement efficiency improvements
• Develop and document standard operating procedures
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Evaluate and implement new warehouse technologies

Budget Management:

• Manage warehouse operating budget
• Control labor costs and overtime
• Track and report on operational expenses
• Identify cost-saving opportunities

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

• Coordinate with Product Manager on incoming shipments and storage needs
• Work with Customer Service on order fulfillment requirements
• Communicate with vendors and service providers
• Report warehouse metrics to company leadership

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse management experience
• Proven track record of team leadership and development
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Budget management experience
• OSHA and safety regulation knowledge

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move throughout warehouse environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Extended periods of standing and walking

Hours and Location:

• Monday to Friday with flexibility for warehouse needs
• Full-time, salaried position
• On-site at 5496 N State Highway 6 Ste 3, Speegleville, TX 76712
