Key Responsibilities:

Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical playbooks for program initiatives.

Promote consistency in service delivery by integrating best practices and lessons learned.

Support capital planning, asset lifecycle strategies, and risk management frameworks.

Performance Optimization & Data-Driven Decision Making

Analyze work orders, system reliability, and maintenance KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

Recommend predictive and smart maintenance strategies to enhance building performance.

Evaluate vendor performance to ensure alignment with program goals.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with technical services teams to align operations, engineering, and workplace services.

Provide guidance on compliance, safety, and engineering standards in collaboration with EHS teams.

Act as a liaison between regional initiatives and broader technical service teams.

Field Delivery Team Alignment

The SME will bridge the gap between strategic initiatives and field execution, ensuring effective implementation across operational sites.

Ensure SOPs and technical standards are communicated and implemented in the field.

Facilitate training and documentation on maintenance strategies and best practices.

2. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Collaborate with facility managers and engineers to review performance data and identify improvements.

Analyze trends and metrics to provide actionable insights.

Participate in audits, technical reviews, and lessons learned sessions.

3. Strategic Initiative Collaboration

Partner with field teams to pilot new technologies and automation solutions.

Support implementation of predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and capital planning efforts.

Ensure field teams have the tools and support needed for effective execution.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

Act as a liaison between strategic programs and field teams, incorporating frontline feedback.

Facilitate regular meetings and working groups to maintain alignment.

Collaborate with workplace services, engineering, and compliance teams to support broader strategy.

5. Risk Management & Compliance Support

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and asset management protocols.

Provide risk assessments and technical recommendations for field activities.

Support proactive solutions for aging infrastructure and capital project coordination.
