Job Description

Infosys is seeking Senior Python Developer with PL/SQL . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 4 years of development experience in maintaining high-quality software using Python programming language
  • In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch
  • At least 2 years of development experience on SQL Server.
  • Understanding of Tune, script, and extract, transform, and load.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives.
  • Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
  • 2 years of development experience on PL/SQL Database.
  • Participate in project review meetings with the client and provide regular updates to offshore.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Experience with Healthcare Industry is preferred.
