Job Description
A Series C medical device company pioneering a non-thermal treatment platform is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to join its high-growth leadership team. The company is entering a pivotal stage of scale, with expanding clinical use and strong investor backing. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and serve as a strategic finance partner as the company advances toward broader commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the company’s full financial model, including revenue, COGS, operating expenses, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Lead revenue forecasting and guidance, with a strong focus on accuracy, insight, and alignment with public company standards.
Support and potentially lead the preparation of earnings call materials; experience drafting scripts or financial narratives is a strong plus.
Prepare and present materials for Board of Directors meetings, distilling complex data into clear insights and action-oriented recommendations.
Serve as a trusted partner to the CFO and broader executive team, contributing to strategic decision-making and cross-functional planning.
Mentor and guide team members, helping to build a best-in-class FP&A function in anticipation of future IPO-readiness.
Ideal Candidate:
~10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, including significant time in a public company environment.
~ Deep experience leading revenue forecasting and guidance processes.
~ Strong financial storytelling abilities, able to shape narratives and clearly communicate complex financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.
~ Solid accounting acumen; CPA is a plus, but not required.
~ Polished executive presence—comfortable presenting to the board and engaging with senior leadership
~ Ambitious and growth-oriented—someone who aspires to be a CFO and is ready to operate as the CFO’s right hand
This is a high-impact leadership role with significant visibility and a path to future executive opportunities. The ideal candidate is dynamic, insightful, and ready to take on a key strategic role within an innovative and mission-driven organization.
