This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver scalable, production-grade data solutions that directly drive business outcomes. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, reusable pipelines and systems that ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability. You will have a strong impact on how data is ingested, processed, and made accessible across the organization. The position allows you to leverage your software engineering expertise to implement modular designs and optimize workflows in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will contribute to best practices, mentor peers, and play a key role in shaping the team’s data engineering standards. This fully remote role offers flexibility while working with a collaborative, innovative, and technically driven team.

Accountabilities:

• Design and develop modular, reusable core libraries to support scalable data solutions.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Python for processing JSON and relational data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility across systems and applications.
• Contribute to data engineering best practices through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience delivering production-grade data solutions.
• Strong software engineering skills with a focus on modular design and reusable code.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Extensive experience with JSON data and relational databases (e.g., SQL).
• Ability to architect efficient, scalable solutions for complex data challenges.
• Proven collaboration skills and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) is a plus.
• Experience with Node.js and/or JavaScript for data-related applications is an asset.
