Job Description

TCS GovCon LLC is seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to oversee access control and escort operations at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River. This position plays a mission-critical role in managing 20 support staff responsible for screening visitors, vetting credentials, processing commercial vehicle access, and maintaining operational control across multiple access points.

You will serve as the on-site lead , ensuring all personnel and processes are in full compliance with the Department of Defense’s base access, security, safety, and privacy standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the daily on-site manager overseeing 20 contractor staff at five access control points (CV lanes, escort lots, and vetting offices).
  • Ensure full compliance with federal requirements, including DoD, Marine Corps, and installation-specific access control protocols.
  • Coordinate directly with the Government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to report on operations, incidents, staffing, and compliance.
  • Manage shift schedules, timekeeping, vacancy coverage (within 5 days), and uniform/equipment accountability.
  • Enforce proper execution of responsibilities such as vetting, document screening, data entry into CLEOC and DBIDS, and vehicle escort coordination.
  • Lead safety briefings and ensure incident reporting protocols are followed, including PMO notification of missing or suspicious vehicles.
  • Ensure all documentation — including logbooks, access pass records, and personnel rosters — are maintained, accurate, and submitted per PWS requirements.
  • Train and mentor personnel on access control procedures, customer service, conflict de-escalation, and privacy/security compliance.
  • Represent TCS GovCon LLC professionally in all interactions with government personnel, base leadership, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance (required before start).
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in access control, security operations, military law enforcement, or similar structured environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DoD access control procedures , credentialing standards (e.g., CAC, DBIDS, REAL ID), and physical security principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with government systems like DBIDS or CLEOC (or similar).
  • Excellent communication, scheduling, and personnel management skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all conditions and be on-site daily, Monday–Friday from 0500–1530 EST.
  • Must wear and maintain a company-provided uniform and present a professional appearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working on-site at a U.S. military installation (e.g., base access control, visitor screening, or vehicle staging).
  • Familiarity with federal privacy standards (e.g., DoD Privacy Program, DoDD 5400.11).
  • Hands-on experience directing traffic or coordinating commercial vehicle staging/escort procedures.
