Job Description

Our client is looking for a full time Maintenance Specialist and please see duties of the role below:

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of the building and grounds
• Handle emergency maintenance requests and general tenant service calls
• Manage apartment turnovers, including repairs and punch-list completion
• Supervise snow and ice removal and coordinate seasonal maintenance
• Ensure compliance with local inspections and building codes
• Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors
• Maintain secure inventory of tools, supplies, and materials
• Operate and maintain a company-owned pickup truck and mobile device
• Communicate effectively with property management, residents, and builder/contractor teams
• Provide limited support at nearby sister properties, as needed

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on residential maintenance experience
• Strong technical skills across multiple trades such plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, drywall, and cabinetry
• Experience with high-end or new construction buildings preferred
• Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience a plus
• Understand complex building systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Tech-savvy with basic email and app usage
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must live within 15 minutes of/to Union County
• Available to respond to after-hours emergencies via company-provided phone
