Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior C++ Developer - This position’s primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best-practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Colorado Springs, CO or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in C & C++ programming, Shell scripting, Perl scripting and Software techniques for writing optimized code
  • Proficient in writing code and Addressing level1, level 2 and level 3 support for the applications supported

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Should be good on Code coverage and Unit Test.
  • Must have good debugging skills.
  • Experience is GitHub Co-pilot.
  • Software development leveraging Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Fast moving program where speed & defect avoidance is extremely key.
  • Committed to developing high quality code and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Exposure in deploying software to private/public cloud, DevOps experience.
  • Software development leveraging Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams to iron out integration needs
  • Ability to guide the implementation teams spread across multiple time zones, through the implementation of the technical solution, based on project plan
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder collaborative environment
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery model & eagerness to pick up new technologies & product skills on the job
  • Excellent analytical and communication skill
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
