Job Title: Legal Assistant – Employment Law (Plaintiff Side)

Location: Coral Gables, FL (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our team, specializing in Employment Law on the Plaintiff side. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in this area of law, and will be able to work onsite in Coral Gables. If you have a strong background in legal support and are fluent in Spanish or Creole, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys specializing in Employment Law on the Plaintiff side.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
• Organize and maintain client files, case files, and legal correspondence.
• Assist with legal research and prepare summaries of case law and statutes.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage deadlines and calendar for court dates, filings, and client appointments.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the legal team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, specifically in Employment Law on the Plaintiff side.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal management software.
