Job Title: Industrial Engineering Intern

Currently seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to support process documentation, improvement, and compliance in our Production team. Key Responsibilities:

• Document operational and administrative processes (ISO).
• Conduct compliance and follow-up audits.
• Prepare reports on process improvements and progress.
• Assist in quality control and production efficiency projects.
• Identify opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiencies in production.
• Research and test design ideas using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and enhance processes, ensuring best practices.
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including flow charts, capacity/utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for insight and direction.
• Develop management control systems to improve financial planning and cost analysis.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in process documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or Senior status within 1 year of obtaining degree.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Control and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual: English - Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
