Job Description

As a dynamic leader in the home care industry, the Director of Nursing for this CHAPS-accredited skilled and non-skilled home care agency will oversee multiple locations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and 100% CHAPS compliance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and managing a team of talented clinicians with a sharp focus on patient outcomes, clinical quality, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the agency's efforts to maintain and improve CHAPS accreditation.

- Ensure AHCA compliance and readiness for surveys.

- Manage the coordination and compliance of all CHAPS-related surveys and quality assessments. - Oversee and execute all aspects of the agency's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QUAPI) program.

- Lead the credentialing process for clinicians and staff to ensure compliance and competency.

- Manage multiple-location surveys to ensure operational excellence and regulatory adherence.

- Supervise and mentor clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PTs, OTs, and schedulers.

- Build and maintain a skilled, compassionate care team that upholds the agency's mission and values.

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of patient care, ensuring exceptional outcomes and satisfaction.

- Oversee utilization review processes to ensure proper resource utilization and patient care effectiveness.

- Supervise and manage scheduling, ensuring optimal patient-to-staff ratios and timely care delivery.

- Develop and implement strategies for effective billing and order management.

- Prepare and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics to ensure budget adherence and performance goals are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Extensive experience with CHAPS accreditation, compliance, and surveys.

- In-depth knowledge of AHCA regulations and standards.

- Demonstrated experience in QUAPI and CEMPS program management.

- Proven success in credentialing clinicians and ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Experience managing multiple-location home care agencies.

- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team-building, mentoring, and staff retention.

- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of patient care.

- Strong knowledge in utilization review, billing, and order management.

Salary: $120-$150k
