As a Claim Adjuster Trainee, you will learn how to investigate and manage all aspects of an insurance claim from initial investigation to final disposition. While each claim you handle may be unique, your day-to-day adjusting will include policy interpretation and evaluation of the damages being presented to work toward an amicable settlement.

**We have opportunities in Denver, CO, Farmingdale, NY and Covington, KY. The trainee role requires an in-office presence in one of our three offices. No remote or hybrid offers available.**
CLAIMS ADJUSTER TRAINEE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead claim investigations to include securing testimony from involved parties and organize experts such as engineers, forensic analysts, and attorneys to determine who is legally liable and what the claim is worth.
· Evaluate claims against insurance contracts to interpret how the policy applies and write professional correspondence to involved parties summarizing your analysis.
· Utilize conflict resolution and customer service skills to deliver claims decisions with empathy and confidence.
· Demonstrate ability to work autonomously on claim investigations while collaborating with team members to build engagement and knowledge for future growth.
· Negotiating settlements within given authority.

The starting salary for this position is $57,000; factors such as licensing, certifications, work, and relative experience will be taken into consideration.
