Job Description

Civil Engineer - Project Manager:

Overview

A growing civil engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their land development team. The role involves working on a variety of commercial, institutional, and residential projects, including urban redevelopment, industrial facilities, and educational campuses. Responsibilities include designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management systems, water quality BMPs, and utility infrastructure. The position offers involvement throughout the project lifecycle—from concept and design through permitting, bidding, and construction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • E.I.T. or F.E. certification required; P.E. license preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with commercial site design and permitting processes
