This position is hybrid and based out of our New York City office reporting to the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

JOB SUMMARY

ICSC is in search of a Brand Design Manager to join our Marketing team. The Brand Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the integrity of the brand identity across all channels and materials. This role involves exceptional attention to detail for the thorough review and approval of all external materials, proactive management of brand identity, design execution of branded materials, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain comprehensive brand guidelines that articulate the brand's personality, tone of voice, visual elements, and other key attributes.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all initiatives to maintain brand consistency and integrity, while monitoring and protecting the brand identity against unauthorized use or misrepresentation, safeguarding the brand's visual integrity and reputation.
  • Create and implement brand aligned designs for both print and digital mediums that reflect and enhance the organization’s message, reaching ICSC’s B2B audience. Includes brochures, reports, event materials (graphics, presentation slides, signage), ads, and social media assets.
  • Provide review and editing support to ensure all communications meet brand guidelines and standards, thoroughly reviewing and approving all materials, including digital assets, event signage, PowerPoints, and other materials created for external use.
  • Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders, including marketing, events, trade show, sales, and external agencies, to execute the brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
  • Contribute to the evolution of ICSC’s overall brand strategy by managing the established design guidelines and ensuring that all designs are aligned with that strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in brand design, brand marketing, brand management, or a related design role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing marketing materials.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of branding, including brand strategy, positioning, visual design, typography, layout, and the role of design in building brand equity.
  • Visual design skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create unique and impactful designs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate brand concepts and guidelines effectively.
