Marketsupport Canada is currently seeking Brand Ambassadors to demo Kidde fire safety products at Home Depot stores all across Canada (including Carleton Place, ON ) for Fire Awareness Month in October !
Location:
Home Depot – 570 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0A7
(1 visit required) on Saturday, October 25th, 2025
Shift:
Saturday – 10 AM to 2 PM
Communicate, engage, and educate store customers on Kidde fire safety products
Check in with Client Manager each shift by texting when arriving and leaving the store
Complete a short daily survey on your home computer after each shift
Submit a few photos of the event and upload them to the survey sent to Marketsupport
Present a professional image at all times while at the store, including:
Kidde apron & t-shirt, black pants or jeans (no rips), and steel-toe/safety shoes
No texting friends or playing games on your phone during the event
Always smiling, courteous, and engaged with customers
Stay active and attentive throughout the store
Reliability – if you’re booked for a shift, you will show up, no excuses
Engaging personality – people want to listen when you talk
Requirements:
Experience as a Brand Ambassador is a strong asset
Strong English communication skills
Ability to stand, smile, and engage with customers for up to 4 hours
Must have a cell phone capable of texting and taking photos
Steel-toe/safety shoes and black pants/jeans required ( Kidde apron provided )
Compensation: $20/hour (4-hour shift) – drive time not paid
Training: Paid training will be available
Interviews: If invited, will be video-based through Zoom
