Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve in a dual role as an Accountant / Executive Assistant. This unique position combines financial expertise with administrative support, requiring someone who is proactive, discreet, and capable of handling a variety of tasks with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Functions:

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and client invoicing

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers

Ensure compliance with tax filings and other regulatory requirements

Work with external accountants during audits or year-end processes

Executive Assistant Duties:

Manage calendar and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel for executives

Screen and manage communications (emails, calls, correspondence)

Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations

Organize and maintain confidential files and records

Assist with project coordination, research, and follow-up on action items

Support event planning and office management tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles

Prior experience as an executive or administrative assistant is strongly preferred

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of discretion and professionalism

Preferred Skills:

CPA certification or ongoing CPA track is a plus

Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello)

Bilingual proficiency (if relevant to the company)

Compensation: $75,000- $100,000 “Includes bonus” “Commensurate with experience”
