Job Description

This position requires relocation to the British Virgin Islands.

As the Reservations and Leisure Sales Manager, you will lead sales and reservations efforts to maximize room occupancy and revenue. This hybrid role combines driving new villa and suite bookings, cultivating trade partnerships, and managing international leisure accounts. You will utilize strategic sales activities and exceptional client service to optimize booking opportunities and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new individual and group reservations across channels like phone, email, and online
  • Respond promptly to all reservation inquiries within 24 hours
  • Maintain and grow relationships with travel partners to drive referrals
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with tour operators and travel companies
  • Manage and retain high-value leisure accounts through direct sales outreach
  • Utilize sales and negotiation techniques to pursue up-selling opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows to attract new clients
  • Inspire and develop the reservations team to meet sales and service goals
  • Track KPIs like booking numbers, revenue, and occupancy to assess performance
  • Handle billing, payments, and all reservation-related financial tasks
  • Generate detailed reports on bookings, inquiries, and monthly performance
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotions, packages, and website updates

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of luxury property, resort, or hotel reservations /sales management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Expert knowledge of hotel and travel industry distribution channels
  • Strong proficiency in booking and CRM software like Opera and Sinxys
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changes
  • Team leadership capabilities and a commitment to developing others
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • US Visa or the ability to travel to the US for road shows.
