Job Description

Well established global law firm is hiring an Office Administrator for their Los Angeles office. The Office Administrator will be responsible for managing administrative operations, supervising administrative staff, implementing office procedures, and supporting attorneys and staff to ensure smooth day-to-day functions. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise administrative staff, provide training, and support professional development.
  • Oversee office operations such as office expansions, liaise with building management and security.
  • Assist with the logistics of new hires, participate in first round interviews and orientations.
  • Plan and coordinate firm meetings, events, and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain accurate office files and create reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the HR department with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and facilitating office policies.
  • Implement and improve office procedures to enhance efficiency and workflow.
  • Assist with oversight of the office budget.
  • Liaise with IT support to maintain office technology and security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, including client confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, administrative procedures, and law office management.
  • A career history that reflects stability, longevity and professional growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of financial management and HR functions is a plus.

This position is 100% in the office in Los Angeles

Base salary of $95k to 105K plus strong benefits and bonus
