Warehouse Manager – Direct Hire Opportunity

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Salary Range: $67,000 – $79,000

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

About the Role:

ALTA IT is hiring a Warehouse Manager on behalf of a trusted client in Jacksonville, FL. This leadership role is key to ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company performance goals. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership and operational management experience to lead, develop, and empower a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and policy compliance.
• Develop and monitor performance goals and budget forecasts.
• Lead and support a team of Warehouse Team Leaders and Associates.
• Ensure inventory control accuracy and process integrity using systems like NetSuite and RF Smart.
• Maintain safety standards in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Manage warehouse fleet maintenance, training, and documentation.
• Contribute to warehouse facility improvements and maintenance.
• Ensure physical security of the warehouse.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and sales.
• Occasional travel to company headquarters and other warehouse locations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management (NetSuite preferred).
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Forklift operation experience a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Flexibility with shifts and occasional overtime.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain a positive team environment.
