Job Description

Position: Handyman

Location: US, Canada, Nassau (Travel Required)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/year

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to support the daily maintenance and operations of our client's residential properties located across the US, Canada, and Nassau. This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel (up to 75%). The ideal candidate has a hands-on background in property maintenance and can manage tasks independently with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily upkeep and general maintenance across multiple residential properties.
  • Carry out basic electrical, mechanical, and handyman repairs.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and manage renovations and repairs.
  • Order supplies and parts as needed.
  • Coordinate with and oversee external contractors, including reviewing quotes and filing documentation.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks and report progress to management.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role (handyman, carpenter, construction worker, etc.).
  • Skilled in the use of tools and equipment; knowledge of HVAC, pool systems, and electrical heating.
  • Valid contractor or construction licenses preferred.
  • Strong understanding of property maintenance across all trades.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.

Additional Information:

  • Must be available for emergency on-call needs.
  • Weekend availability may be required.
  • Expected start date: ASAP.
  • Travel requirement: up to 75%.
