Summary:

We are a rapidly growing, innovative hospitality company reinventing the timeshare experience across discovery, booking, and stay. We seek a full-time Tour Center Agent to be a contributor in shaping our sales department as we integrate new resorts and expand our product lines. The Tour Center Agent will assist in the daily operations of the Tour Center department by greeting and assisting guests in the check-in process for presentations, the accurate and efficient processing of sales contracts, as well as qualifying tour guests and issuing tour premiums. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is a strong communicator, pays attention to detail, and enjoys engaging with people.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with tasks associated with the daily operations of the Sales and Tour Center departments 
• Serve as backup for Sales contract processing
• Ensure tour data is entered into the computer system
• Assist guests with check-in process and qualifying them
• Assist Sales/Marketing department by attending trade shows and other external marketing events
• Prepare and issue tour gifts for distribution 
• Answer phones and appropriately direct phone calls
• Following up with guests who don’t show for scheduled time
• Provides customer service and support to owners and guests 
• Generate reports as needed
• Must be available to work weekends

Qualifications:  

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years office experience
• Minimum 1 year marketing experience, some telemarketing preferred
• Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Google Docs and Sheets knowledge is a plus
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Fast learner with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in time management
• Must be personable and professional

Working Conditions:  

Must be available regular business hours and available for evening and/or weekend work on occasion. Must be able to routinely perform indoor work with minimum noise levels. Must be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence, naturally or electronically and may include adaptive aids. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Physical Requirements:  

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 8 hours per day. At times, occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities, as may be occasionally asked to travel to sites or events. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
