TELECOMS DUTIES

• Business Lan Shifts & Provides covering Stanlow, Tranmere. Thornton.

• Telephone shifts and provides Stanlow and Tranmere. Thornton.

• 1 st line and 2 nd line for phone/Comms faults Stanlow, Tranmere. Thornton.

• Maintain and provide alarm signals (fire, low level, monitoring) back to SCR.

• Maintain and provide control signals site wide eg Fire water pumps.

• Process Lan Shifts & provides and LAN services OMS to Tranmere.

• Maintain various Telemetry point to point modem links, and modems.

• First line for Process microwave faults between Stanlow and Tranmere.

• NWEP CCTV Systems at offsite and SHOP.(Maintain, repair).

• 33KV SCADA Lan and modem links.

• Various Optic links for DCS Lan.

• Various site wide third party networks and telephony.

• Maintain & install various 3 rd party mini Exchange systems.

• Maintain Security and Process CCTV Systems/ Optic/Microwaves etc.

• Install and maintain fibre optic cables.

• 24 Hr Call in rota for all Telecom /Radio faults/CCTV.etc.

• Install Shutdown Infrastructure and maintenance for all areas.

• Maintain Cable Management on both Tranmere/Stanlow Caplum.

• Fire Alarms lines/faults.

• Gate Access lines/faults.

• SUCS- Site Urgent Communication System.

• On/Off Site Sirens.
• Hosting of 3 rd Parties when on site. B.T /C&W / ADT etc.

• Major Communication Projects.

• VC installs, faults/maintenance.

• Fax Machines.

• Underground Telephone Jointing on Site. 200/100/50 pair cables.

• Termination on site 200/100/50/20 Telephone Pair Cables.

• Source and supply new radio equipment requirements.

• Annual inspection of ATEX comms equipment.

• Maintenance and repair of radio, mobile phone and pager equipment.

• Maintenance of stock and inspection records.

• Pat Testing.

• All Time Served Tradesmen

• Vesda Control.

• Admin smoke detection beams all floors.

• Stanlow intercoms Install and maintain.

• Intercom systems Gate 2 install maintain.

• Full office installs, refits( data comms electrical)

• On and off site ADSL install and maintain.

• Sitewide WIFI install and maintain.
