Job Description

Position: Recruiter

Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Reports to: Talent Acquisition Director

Department: Talent Acquisition

Position Purpose:

The primary role is to provide full cycle recruiting support and knowledge to Leadec operations teams for recruiting on Maintenance, Engineering, and Corporate positions as well as high volume entry level recruiting. This role with support Leadec's onboarding processes including external job postings, phone screening, scheduling of interviews, and assisting with onboarding paperwork. Proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement while providing technical support to operational teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively leads by example and coaches site end users to abide by all Leadec onboarding processes.
  • Maintains relationships with Leadec colleagues / customers
  • Effectively maintains day to day processes in ADP RM
  • Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to managers.
  • Participates in training sessions, launches and onboarding support.
  • Provides sourcing support to operations, prescreening and scheduling interviews, scheduling (full cycle recruiting)
  • Provides Technical Support to ADP RM end users and applicants
  • Operates within the Leadec Values (Professionalism, Respect for Individual, Colleagueship, Openness, Reliability and Integrity) to promote an overall positive culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience recruiting for Industrial Manufacturing and Commercial Construction environments
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting maintenance and engineering positions
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn industry standards and best practices
  • Strong work ethic
  • High volume recruiting processing experience
  • Possess a strong customer service mentality.
  • Intermediate computer skills. (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience working in a union environment is beneficial
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
