JOB DESCRIPTION: Surveyor General Expectations/Responsibilities: Continuously improve through education, professional training, and certification. Position Responsibilities: Verify and or setup project control. Proficient with Trimble Business Center and 3D Modeling. Maintain accurate project control points within the project limits. Coordinate daily with the construction management team to schedule the required layout for roadway, bridge, underground construction and other activities and needed. Record as built and topo data as required for the project duration. Spot check formwork, bearing elevations, beam elevations, pile templates, screed finished grade elevations and grading operations for subgrade, subbase, asphalt and concrete pavement. Work directly with the equipment operators to confirm GPS model accuracy and spot check production grading. Layout for clearing and grubbing limits, guardrail, walls, signage, lighting, storm sewer, utilities, pavement marking, ITS, and right of way. Routinely verify all survey data is accurately stored with the JV database and filing.
