THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join our team. At Sibel, you will help develop cutting-edge digital biomarker technologies in conjunction with novel wearable devices for use within pharmaceutical trials. We are looking for someone with deep data science skills that is looking to be the technical lead for the development and implementation of models that will have a real world impact on thousands of patient lives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

  • Be the technical owner of algorithm development and improvement for Sibel’s Digital Health Technologies.
  • Build signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning models for novel digital
  • biomarkers across a range of disease states, including Parkinson’s disease, Atopic Dermatitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and many others.
  • Build and maintain the data processing codebase to transform raw biosignal data into digital biosignals for customers.
  • Maintain data quality monitoring dashboards for Sibel customers and academic studies.
  • Work cross functionally with product managers, software engineers, and commercial teams to impact Sibel’s digital health product roadmap.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 7+ years of experience building algorithms with biosignals (Accelerometer, ECG/EMG, Photoplethysmography).
  • Expertise in signal analysis, machine learning, and deep learning for biomedical signals.
  • Expertise in python and writing production quality code.
  • Familiarity with low level languages (C, rust) and low resource computing is a plus.
  • Experience with acoustic signals is a plus.
  • Experience with wearable sensors is a plus.
  • Must be available to work onsite four days per week.
