Position Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join our Kansas City-based team. This is a client-facing, project-focused role supporting multiple initiatives in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate excels at gathering and translating requirements, has experience in technical or industrial domains, and thrives in a dynamic, hands-on setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
• Create user stories, workflows, and functional specs.
• Collaborate with PMs, Solution Architects, and Developers.
• Act as a bridge between clients and technical teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive iterative delivery.
• Understand manufacturing processes; ISO experience a plus.
• Represent the company professionally and empathetically.
• Take initiative to identify problems and drive solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a BA in custom software or managed services.
• Experience in project-based work; HVAC/manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Agile/Scrum familiarity.
• Strong organizational and collaboration tools proficiency.
• Technically curious; knowledge of .NET and AI technologies helpful.
• Self-starter with strong initiative.
• Must be local to KC and available onsite daily.
• Exposure to ISO standards and quality documentation preferred.
