Solar PV builds across the Central Valley of California. The PM will directly manage three or more PV Site Superintendents overseeing active PV site builds and commissioning of either fixed tilt or tracker systems ranging from 100kW to 5MW and higher. To successfully deliver projects, the PM will need to interface regularly with customers, utility providers, county permitting officials and other key stakeholders as necessary. The PM will be supported by a robust staff of sales, engineering and logistics team at RSI in Hanford, CA.
Requirements of the Position
The Project Manager must have experience as a Project Manager, preferably in Solar
PV. The Project Manager must be an effective communicator. To be successful, the PM will communicate daily with Site Superintendents to direct construction efforts, and with management to provide updated construction status reports. Project Managers must maintain current knowledge and familiarity with Construction Building Codes and Standards, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Trades as they pertain to PV Solar. Project Managers must maintain a valid driver’s license and are expected to commute frequently between job sites, currently as far north as Merced, south to Bakersfield.
Supervisory Controls

Site Superintendents are expected to work 40-45 hours/week, with core hours being
Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM, and available to support non-standard Overtime hours as necessary.
Evaluation Factors
Project Managers will be evaluated based on project driven metrics, and their ability to successfully deliver Solar PV projects on time and within budget.
Pay Scale
Compensation is negotiable, salary based, with a combination of project-based incentives. Compensation will be at market rates, based on qualifications, currently estimated between $90k-$105k/year + project-based incentives.
