About the Role:

DramaBox is looking for a savvy, creative, and analytics-driven Social Media Specialist to support our growing digital presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and beyond. You’ll be hands-on with content creation, publication, community engagement, and cross-functional coordination, helping us grow a loyal, high-engagement fanbase for our slate of vertical short dramas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Planning & Publishing:

Create and maintain weekly content calendars tailored to each platform. Draft engaging copy, briefs, and on-screen captions using SEO, meme culture, and CTA best practices. Edit, schedule, and publish Reels, in-feed posts, and Stories to spotlight new series releases.

  • Creative Coordination:

Work with the China-based marketing team and internal producers to gather and localize promotional assets (trailers, posters, BTS content). Coordinate on-set visits and direct cast/crew to capture dynamic, authentic supplementary footage.

  • BTS & Influencer Strategy:

Develop behind-the-scenes content strategies, including interview questions, trending video formats, and creative hooks. Organize and edit footage for internal use and public release. Identify and manage collabs with creators in BookTok, fanfiction, and vertical drama spaces.

  • Community Engagement & Growth:

Moderate comments and DMs using the brand voice. Run weekly A/B tests on hooks, captions, thumbnails, and post timing. Turn insights into actionable strategies for reach, engagement, and follower growth.

  • Platform Innovation:

Stay ahead of platform trends, tools, and feature releases. Propose new content formats and audience engagement strategies. Ensure content complies with licensing, disclosure, and community standards.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years managing multi-platform social for an entertainment brand, streamer, or digital-first creator.
  • Proven success growing TikTok or Reels accounts from 0 to 100K+ followers in under 12 months.
  • Strong grasp of short-form storytelling (hook, tension, payoff) and genre tropes (“enemies to lovers”, “forbidden love”, etc.).
  • Skilled copywriter with range—from meme fluency to polished, on-brand messaging.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere or CapCut, Canva, and scheduling tools like Later or Buffer.
  • Analytical mindset—able to build reports, draw insights, and present strategies clearly.
  • Knowledge of platform policies (music rights, disclosures, monetization guidelines).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • SEO knowledge for TikTok, Shorts, and YouTube.
  • Experience in affiliate marketing or managing influencer partnerships.
  • Fluency in a second language (Spanish or Mandarin preferred).
