SUMMARY

 

International Matchmakers is seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s social media presence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, grow our audience, and support marketing goals. You will manage day-to-day content creation, platform management, community engagement, and performance tracking across all key social channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage and publish content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube).
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices, applying insights to improve performance.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build a vibrant online community.
  • Analyze KPIs and generate monthly reports to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Manage paid social campaigns and collaborate with advertising partners if applicable.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging platforms, tools, and industry news.
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure all content aligns with tone, voice, and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends.
  • Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later), and analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to interpret data and apply insights to strategy.
  • Creative thinker with strong visual and communication skills.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing, Communication, or related field required.
  • At least three years of social media experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of current digital trends.
  • Experience in digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software.
