Job Description

Essential Functions

• Actively maintain a safe plant and warehouse environment
• Maintain organization of finished goods and raw materials warehouses
• Responsible for loading and unloading all outgoing and incoming shipments while following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure warehouse and surrounding spaces as well as equipment.
• Calculate raw material needs and keep the production plant in supply of such materials, using oldest materials first (FIFO)
• Must be willing to communicate with various internal departments as well as outside vendors concerning warehouse and
• raw material needs

Competencies

• Safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks and environmental awareness for safe operations.
• Organizational and time management skills are critical to this position
• Communication and teamwork with shift leads and factory leadership team
• Attention to detail and standard work procedure

Education and Experience

• Strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Certified in forklift operation
