Nonotuck Resources Associates () is a community-based agency that has been providing residential services since 1972 to people with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We support people who need assistance to remain living in a home setting. The individual and shared living provider share a home; the shared living provider must have an extra bedroom.
SHARED LIVING PROVIDER NEEDED
We are seeking a compassionate individual or couple to provide a welcoming and supportive shared living home for a middle-aged woman in the Woburn/Billerica/Burlington area. This engaging woman loves knitting, dining out, making new friends, and going to her day program. She dreams of living in a home with people who will embrace her as an inclusive member of the household. She values meaningful relationships and is looking for a home where she feels empowered, respected, and celebrated for who she is. She prefers to live in a home without small children; a home where she is encouraged to participate actively in daily life while receiving the support she needs to achieve her personal goals.

Caregiver responsibilities will include planning and sharing meals, coordinating appointments and social activities, and providing assistance with budgeting, safety, and daily living skills. To qualify, all applicants must have First Aid and CPR training, a valid driver's license, own a car, pass a CORI, and meet AFC criteria. The caregiver will receive a generous stipend, training, and ongoing support. Clinical supports, nursing supports, and respite funds are also available, as needed.
