Job Description

HVAC Service Manager
  • Location: Anaheim
  • Monday - Friday (6:30am-3:30pm)
  • Salary: $100,000-$150,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee hiring, training and development of new Service Technicians to ensure they integrate effectively into the team and contribute positively to department goals.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate preventative maintenance and diagnostic work, with swift action taken as needed.
  • Supervise the effective and efficient servicing of equipment both in the field and in the company yards.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of all repair estimates created by Field Service Supervisors and Service Technicians.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of Field Service Supervisors and Service Technicians at job sites and within the company yards.
  • Manage the training and development of Service Technicians in office Branches to align with So Cal practices and standards.
  • Ensure adequate levels of repair parts, materials, and supplies are available for the Service Department.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and assist subordinates in developing effective work habits.
  • Handle field service calls as needed, ensuring detailed documentation and accurate note-taking.
  • Exercise sound judgment in problem investigation and the recommendation of appropriate remedial actions.
  • Implement and maintain controls to safeguard the inventory of chillers and portable units while minimizing handling, storage, and damage costs.
  • Making it understood that THE CUSTOMER IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY and that each employee is here to support that priority.
  • Ascertains that the Company's Safety standards are complied with.
  • Complements the CEO, and Operations Manager in performing the in-house service work in a safe environment in the yard and field.
  • Stays abreast of current Company's policies and procedures and ascertains adhere to these regulations.
  • Respects and maintains the confidentially of Company, customers and personnel information
Experience/Qualifications:
* Supervising: 3 years (Required)
* HVAC: 10 years (Preferred)

  • Hvac cert
  • 3 years exp in supervisory at least
  • Running the dept of 10 ee's total
  • Schedule would be M-F 6:30AM-3:30PM
  • On call for emergency if needed and if they are super busy they will work some weekends
  • Travel to NorCal and possibly NV
