Our client, a well-known community bank in South Florida, is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to manage and grow its trust business. This role involves overseeing an existing portfolio of trust accounts while developing new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer a portfolio of trust accounts, ensuring compliance with fiduciary responsibilities.
• Develop new trust business through client relationships, referrals, and professional networks.
• Provide guidance to clients on estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation strategies.
• Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of trust laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Trust/Wealth Management Officer.
• Experience managing trust accounts, with a strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities.
• A client network or the ability to attract new trust business in South Florida.
• Knowledge of estate planning, tax implications, and financial planning strategies.
• Professional credentials such as JD, CPA, or CTFA preferred.
