Senior Thrive Education Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Thrive Education Manager to lead the delivery and growth of our Thrive Strategy, developed to promote mental, social, and emotional wellness in schools and communities across North Texas. In this full-time role, you will serve as a key liaison between Thrive partner schools and the Foundation, ensuring consistent communication, support, and program implementation. In addition to program management responsibilities, the Senior Thrive Education Manager will deliver engaging, mental health education presentations in public and private schools, community agencies, and other organizations that support youth and families.
Primary Responsibilities
· Serve as a point of contact for designated school and agency partners participating in the Foundation’s Thrive Strategy
· Build and maintain strong relationships while actively recruiting school partners, supporting agencies, and service organizations.
· Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the annual Peer-to-Peer Conference, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities include overseeing event logistics, managing speaker outreach and engagement, coordinating volunteers, and driving event promotion and communications.
· Provide guidance and support to school partners as they evaluate current resources, curriculum, activities, programs, and services to support mental health awareness and social emotional learning
· Provide guidance and support to the Thrive Education team and update Foundation leadership on community needs to ensure successful program implementation, service delivery, and data collection
· Identify gaps and make recommendations for community and school partners for strategic planning to include mental health awareness and social emotional learning
· Identify, investigate, and share new and developing research-based resources and effective service providers
· Provide professional development and training to leadership and staff at Thrive partner schools
· Assist with the development and distribution of Grant Halliburton Foundation program curriculum and outreach materials
· Deliver professional development training to the leadership and staff of partner schools and community organizations
· Provide mental health presentations or workshops for parents and mental health professionals
· Gather school- and community-based mental health data to record outreach numbers
· Develop ongoing evaluation tools and surveys to facilitate continuous growth and improvement among partner schools
· Provide feedback and data to the Foundation's leadership and staff for the betterment of mental health programs
· Stay updated on emerging research-based resources and effective service providers, investigating and sharing these findings with relevant stakeholders
· Assist with representing Grant Halliburton Foundation at community- and school-based informational fairs and mental health education events
· Assist with planning of annual mental health conference - When Life Hands You Teenagers , fundraising events, and other special projects
· Attend and assist with trainings for staff and volunteer mental health educators
· Support the Thrive Education team with delivering mental health education and facilitating discussions with school-aged youth
Essential Skills and Experience
· Demonstrated ability to assist or manage projects in various school settings
• Advanced ability to research, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate mental health education resources and programs
• 3-5 years of experience in a professional or business setting
• Experience in volunteering and recruitment and team-building skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn and master new software efficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff, donors, board members, volunteers, and community partners
• Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines efficiently
• The ability to work independently and proactively
• Dependability, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Commitment to agency vision, core values, and mission
Preferred Education and Work Experience
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to spend time seated, the dexterity to perform computer keyboard functions, the ability to stand for long periods of time, and the ability to lift 50 pounds to carry and distribute materials to the community and set up and break down program materials.
The employee must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive distances between 25 to 200 miles in a day (will receive mileage reimbursement).
FLSA: Exempt – Salaried; Full Time
Compensation: Salary Range of $55,000- $60,000
Reports to: Associate Director of Mental Health Education
