Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Compensation to lead and execute compensation strategy, ensuring competitive, equitable, and performance-driven practices. This role focuses on designing, managing, and optimizing long-term incentive plans (LTIPs), short-term incentive plans (STIPs), and equity-based compensation programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of compensation frameworks, and the ability to align programs with organizational goals and talent strategies. This role will require you to work in the Dallas office, 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Management

  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation programs, including LTIPs, STIPs, and equity awards.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure compensation packages remain competitive within industry standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align compensation strategies with business goals and employee value propositions.
  • Oversee the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, incentive payouts, and equity grants.

Incentive Plan Design & Administration

  • Develop and manage LTIP programs to attract and retain top talent, including stock options, performance shares, and other long-term equity-based incentives.
  • Design and administer STIP programs that drive short-term performance and align with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements for incentive plans across applicable regions.

Equity Program Management

  • Oversee equity award processes, including grant administration, vesting schedules, and employee education on equity programs.
  • Partner with finance, legal, and external advisors to manage equity plan compliance, reporting, and shareholder approvals.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of equity compensation in achieving talent and organizational goals.

Analysis, Reporting, & Communication

  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver detailed reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
  • Provide clear communication and training for HR teams and employees on compensation policies and program details.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CCP) preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation management, with a focus on LTIPs, STIPs, and equity programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, equity programs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, equity management platforms, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
