Senior Government & Administrative Law Attorney – Recent Need | Miami, FL
A nationally recognized law firm in Miami, FL is urgently seeking a highly experienced attorney to join its public law and administrative practice. This recent need offers a career-defining opportunity for a government law attorney with a proven track record in regulatory advocacy, agency interactions, and administrative litigation.
The ideal candidate brings strategic depth, client-facing experience, and the ability to manage regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work closely with both public-sector clients and multidisciplinary internal teams to ensure high-level counsel in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
This global law firm focuses its practice on national and international parallel proceedings and business transactions. It has Board Certified lawyers in International Litigation & Arbitration, International Law, and Immigration & Nationality Law. The firm is headquartered in Miami, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients before federal, state, and local administrative agencies
• Draft and file rule-making petitions, administrative complaints, and regulatory filings
• Lead representation in administrative hearings, appeals, and informal agency proceedings
• Conduct comprehensive policy and regulatory research for client strategy development
• Coordinate multi-jurisdictional compliance initiatives with internal and external counsel
• Deliver legal trainings on administrative procedures, government relations, and compliance
• Track and interpret legislative and regulatory updates affecting client operations
Qualifications:
• 9+ years of experience in administrative or government/public law
• Active Florida Bar membership
• Demonstrated success in agency advocacy and appeals
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters and time-sensitive deadlines
Skills & Competencies:
• Deep knowledge of administrative law and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in legal drafting, case management, and e-filing platforms
• Strong client communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Team-oriented mindset with capacity for independent decision-making
• Superior research, negotiation, and issue-spotting abilities
