Job Title: School Psychologist (SPSY) – Temporary Position

Location: Morgan Hill, CA

Schedule: 2-3 days per week (In-Person Only)

Assignment Duration: Temporary – Position ends June 6, 2025

Job Overview:

We are seeking a School Psychologist (SPSY) to support a full-inclusion elementary school in Morgan Hill, CA . This temporary position will last until the end of the school year (June 6, 2025). The role focuses on behavioral support, counseling, and conducting a limited number of assessments —general school psychology duties in a collaborative, inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral and social-emotional support for students in an inclusive elementary setting.
• Offer individual and group counseling services as needed.
• Conduct psychological assessments and collaborate with the special education team.
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to implement intervention strategies.
• Support MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) initiatives.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student success.

Requirements:

• Must be in-person (no virtual option).
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology .
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in an inclusive setting preferred.
• Strong skills in behavior intervention, counseling, and psychoeducational assessments .
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff.
