Job Title: Sales Executive – International Freight Forwarding (Based in Houston, TX | Focus: Mexico Market)

On-site – Houston Office

Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Executive to lead our growth strategy in the Mexican and LATAM markets, operating directly from our Houston branch. This role is ideal for an experienced logistics sales professional who can open new trade lanes, establish strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth by offering customized logistics solutions to importers, exporters, and freight forwarders with business in or from Mexico.

The selected candidate will play a key role in positioning our organization as the preferred U.S. logistics partner for companies seeking a strong presence and operational capabilities in the ports, airports, and warehouses of Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on the Mexico–USA trade corridor .
  • Identify and acquire new clients, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, and freight forwarders in Mexico needing logistics solutions in the U.S.
  • Promote our services: Ocean, Air, Ground Freight , Bonded & Non-Bonded Warehousing , Distribution , and Customs Brokerage Support .
  • Create and deliver high-impact service proposals , tailored to the client's industry, volume, and needs.
  • Establish long-term relationships through strategic account management .
  • Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure a high-quality client experience.
  • Represent Blue Draco at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums .
  • Provide consistent reporting on sales activity, forecasts, pipeline health, and KPIs .

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding sales (focus on ocean/air freight a plus).
  • Proven success developing trade between the U.S. and Mexico & LATAM .
  • Strong industry network with Mexican importers/exporters and freight forwarders .
  • Deep understanding of Houston's logistics infrastructure and port operations .
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) – required.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High level of autonomy, entrepreneurial mindset, and results-driven.

Commission Structure:

Uncapped commissions starting at 5–10% on GP.

Performance bonuses for strategic accounts, revenue milestones, and territory expansion.

Additional Details:

  • This is an on-site position based at our Houston, TX office.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
  • The role is primarily in-person (or hybrid, depending on candidate profile), with occasional off-site activities such as client visits, trade shows, and networking events.
