Role Summary:

This organization is looking for a proactive and inventive Industrial Automation Engineer with a strong background in AI and robotics. The selected individual will be pivotal in designing, building, and refining advanced automation systems that utilize AI to enhance production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for pioneering industrial automation and creating intelligent systems that transform operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Robotic Systems Development and Integration:

  • Design, implement, and deploy robotic systems for industrial applications.
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
  • Work with various robotic technologies, including collaborative robots (cobots), industrial robots, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
  • Refine existing automation processes through the application of AI and machine learning.

AI-Driven Process Enhancement:

  • Leverage machine learning and computer vision to improve automation capabilities.
  • Develop AI models for predictive maintenance, quality control, and process optimization.
  • Apply digital twin and simulation technologies for process enhancement.
  • Utilize IoT and smart sensors for real-time data analysis and decision-making.

Manufacturing Process Engineering:

  • Analyze production workflows to identify automation opportunities, collaborating with a cross funtional team
  • Optimize cycle times, throughput, and resource utilization using AI-driven insights.

System Integration and Maintenance:

  • Integrate AI-powered automation systems with existing MES and ERP systems.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and performance monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience in robotics, automation, or AI-driven process engineering.
  • Practical experience with industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.), PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley), and AI/ML tools.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • In-depth understanding of robot kinematics, motion control, cobots, and industrial automation.
  • Experience in AI, IoT, computer vision, and deep learning for automation applications.
  • Programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB for AI-driven automation.
  • Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) and edge AI computing.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and predictive maintenance modeling.
