  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection in accordance with product requirements, specifications, and MFI documented procedures and sampling plan.
  • Perform first article inspection in accordance with requirements and product specifications.
  • Document the results of the inspection in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Ensure the use of proper monitoring and measuring equipment required for inspection.
  • Ensure the calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment prior to use.
  • Identify, segregate, and control nonconforming product in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify the shelf life and expiration of received product against the supplier documentation, as applicable.
  • Validate new tools by performing first article inspection.
  • Perform regular inspection of the work area to maintain proper housekeeping and identify and remove foreign objects.
  • Operate the forklift to move products for inspection purposes or loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Perform other duties as may be requested by the Department Head and/or top management.
KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge in production processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure proper product realization.
  • Knowledge in identifying customer requirements to flow them down internally and to suppliers.
  • Knowledge in general mathematical principles, techniques, and practices relevant to calculation, measurement, data collection, and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge in general computer applications applicable to the job.
