Job Requirements and Duties:

• Bachelor's degree in Science.
• 3 plus years of food manufacturing industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, GFSI, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong experience in QA/QC processes including conducting quality audits.
• Investigate customer complaints using root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions and track complaint trends.
• Report food safety and quality issues to senior management with actionable insights.
• Write, maintain, and improve quality system SOPs.
• Manage the day to day operation of all quality function.
• Lead the team in the execution of HACCP plans and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Review SOPs & specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain food safety protocols and sanitation programs.
• Drive innovation through scientific research and technology adoption.
• Oversee all aspects of daily quality operations.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local food safety regulations.
• Understanding of industry standards of Food Safety and Quality.
• Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
• Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
• Schedule and coordinate preparations for product inspections and testing.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA reporting systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking ability, and leadership skills.
