Job Description

1st Choice, LLC is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Program Support Specialist (General Clerk III) to support a family services and community engagement program on a federal installation. This program provides essential resources, education, and support to Service Members and their families.

The ideal candidate brings strong administrative and customer service skills, enjoys assisting individuals in accessing available services, and is comfortable working in a structured, mission-driven environment.

• Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA (Onsite)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Clearance: Ability to meet standard federal background screening (NACI-eligible)
• Key Responsibilities Provide front desk coverage, greet visitors, answer phones, and conduct initial intake.
• Manage appointment scheduling, calendars, and client assistance.
• Update program databases, tracking systems, and prepare monthly reports.
• Maintain ARIMS-compliant filing systems and support document management.
• Assist with preparing briefing materials, presentations, and program documentation.
• Support planning and coordination for classes, workshops, and community events.
• Prepare purchase requests and track materials to support program operations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Background & Access Requirements

• Because this role is located on a military installation, selected candidates must be able to complete standard federal background steps as part of onboarding. These include:Routine installation access screening
• Fingerprinting
• A federal background check (NACI)
• Eligibility to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Preferred (Not Required)

• Candidates with any of the following are strongly encouraged to apply:Prior NACI or Public Trust
• Prior military installation access
• Prior CAC
• Previous experience supporting government or military programs

• Required Qualifications At least 1 year of experience supporting a social services, education, military, or community support program
• Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working onsite full-time
• Ability to complete standard background screening for base access
• Preferred Qualifications Experience with Army Community Service (ACS) or Family Advocacy Programs
• Experience conducting client intake or supporting high-volume customer service areas
• Experience supporting program coordination, workshops, trainings, or community events
• Familiarity with ARIMS filing or similar recordkeeping systems
