Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Product Manager to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas.
Duties:
- Develop network and security product portals and software solutions
- Partner with stakeholder organizations to define and align product roadmaps, priorities, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to drive new solutions, proof of concepts, and architectural direction
- Serve as recognized technology leaders in the network and security product portfolio, driving a technology-led approach to grow revenue through NaaS solutions
- Act as cross-functional technology leaders in evaluating build-versus-buy decisions for product development and launches
- Identify new opportunities to integrate network and security services to enhance and differentiate company's product offerings
- Develop and own solution architecture and delivery team backlogs, ensuring user stories are written, acceptance criteria are met, and working features are demonstrated internally and externally
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, both internal and external, to ensure the successful implementation of new or enhanced product functionality
- Manage, mentor, and develop strong technical teams responsible for product engineering functions for security solutions
- Work with product and operations stakeholders to develop a product consolidation strategy for security products transitioning from legacy platforms to new solutions
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of work experience in enterprise product development
- Possesses technical knowledge of complex systems and architecture concepts, ensuring project teams effectively employ appropriate software design techniques
- Strong software development and delivery background with experience in delivering public cloud-based solutions
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in developing or migrating solutions using AWS ecosystems, Angular frameworks, and containers
- Good understanding and industry expertise to provide a systems perspective and knowledge of compliance frameworks
- Good working knowledge of network, security, and cloud-based services, including private and public IP networks, managed services, SASE, Zero Trust, DDoS, security gateways, and WAFs
- Strong experience developing accessible user portals for demanding customers
- Experience leading and collaborating across cross-functional delivery initiatives
- Experience working with businesses and customers to gather and document requirements, manage product backlogs, write user stories, and coordinate with development teams and vendors to execute product plans and vision
- Experience working closely with development teams to deliver new functionality
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions with product management and customers to identify new market opportunities and use cases
- Ability to analyze business results using key financial metrics such as volumes, costs, and profitability to ensure offerings meet customer needs while achieving business targets for revenue and margin
