Job Description

Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Product Development Coordinator in Manhattan, NY

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) - Manhattan, NY 10038

Pay rate: $24-$26.50/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor the product development process for assigned product lines.
  • Act as the point of contact for vendors, production, technical design, and merchandising teams.
  • Create and maintain seasonal development charts, WIPs, readiness decks, and costing charts.
  • Update and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with design updates.
  • Provide weekly workflow updates and ensure timely communication across teams.
  • Track development timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support design and merchandising teams with development details and project coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of product design/development experience (internships considered with strong skills).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to shifting priorities and fast-paced timelines.
  • Prior experience with Centric PLM (highly preferred).
  • Previous experience in Product Development (PD) or related roles (preferred).
