Advertised Job Summary
To answer drug and poison information calls from the citizens of South Carolina through the Palmetto Poison Center. This may include, but, is not limited to, handling requests from health professionals and the public for the Palmetto Poison Control Center. This individual will also accurately document calls using database program utilized by the Palmetto Poison Center for poison control and drug information.
Required Education and Experience
BS degree in Pharmacy, PharmD and a licensed pharmacist in South Carolina
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in providing poison and drug information
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Relevant knowledge of drug and poison information and procedures to relay to the public and skills to respond appropriately in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
