The On-Air Coordinator for Fox Broadcasting is responsible for the final daily quality control of our Ad Revenue, which averages 2.5 to 3 billion dollars per year for FOX. As On-Air Coordinator, you will be responsible for all issues and errors of these Ads daily and will have to perform these quality control tasks on strict daily timelines (hours to minutes before they go to broadcast air). You will instruct a large team of engineers on what tasks need to be prioritized to make sure all daily deadlines are met. You will also assist in Direct Live FOX shows and will be responsible for the timing and airing of all elements, including commercials and promos during these live shows, as well as the coordination of timing between shows. As an Assistant Director, you will speak directly to the AD and Director of our Live shows for exact timings to the second.
As On-Air Coordinator, you will need to speak to multiple departments throughout the Fox organization to explain the issues and errors their department created in their media. For example, when they catch a wrong date on our promo, you will discuss that issue with the promo department and how to fix it, and what timeline it needs to be fixed by. You are ultimately responsible for making sure all elements (program, commercial, and promo) that make up the whole of our broadcast are assembled and ready for air seven days a week.
