Experience:
Minimum 2 years of MRI Tech experience
Must have worked in a teaching facility
Certifications:
Valid MRI Certification (ARRT or equivalent)
VT Temporary License: Must apply at confirmation
EMR: Must have used Epic within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
Travel Experience: Preferred
Reliable Transportation: Required (public transit not available)
Vehicles: Must be winter-ready (snow/all-season tires Nov–Apr)
COVID/Flu: Declinations accepted with documentation
Facility Details:
Facility Size: 100 beds
Staff Size (Radiology): 40+ staff; only 3rd shift works alone
Common Exams: Routine scans typical of community hospital
Average Daily Exams (MRI): 12–14 per day
Procedure Time: 45 minutes per scan
Injections: Yes, contrast injections required
MRI Machine: GE Optima 450w (wide bore)
Work Areas: OR, ER, Fluoro, Offsites
