About the Role
We are seeking a Microsoft Power Data Engineering Developer to join our Merchandising Team, specializing in pricing analysis. This role focuses on building scalable data solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Data Services to drive actionable insights for company's pricing strategies.
As part of the team, you will work closely with pricing analysts, data scientists, and business leaders to develop data pipelines, dashboards, and automation solutions that optimize product pricing, promotions, and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Integration: Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and SQL to process and transform large datasets for pricing analysis.
Power Platform Development: Build interactive Power BI dashboards, Power Apps solutions, and Power Automate workflows to streamline pricing operations.
Data Modeling & Visualization: Design data models that provide accurate, scalable, and actionable insights for pricing and merchandising teams.
Pricing Analytics Support: Work with pricing analysts to integrate competitive pricing data, forecast demand, and support price elasticity analysis using advanced analytics.
Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate pricing workflows and improve efficiency in decision-making.
Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure data solutions align with strategic pricing goals.
Performance Tuning: Optimize queries, datasets, and reports to ensure fast, scalable performance.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics development.
Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Strong SQL skills with experience in Azure SQL, Synapse, or Data Factory.
Experience working with large-scale retail or pricing datasets.
Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and data visualization best practices.
Experience with pricing analytics, promotional analysis, or revenue optimization in a retail environment.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate insights effectively.

Experience in the retail or CPG industry, particularly in pricing and merchandising analytics.
Knowledge of AI/ML pricing optimization models.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
