Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Superintendent to manage field operations for large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical projects. You will ensure high-quality installation, enforce safety standards, drive productivity, and maintain adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical field operations, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing, on multi‑million‑dollar projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines
• Enforce safety protocols, oversee quality control, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes
• Inspect installations against design documents, submittals, and RFIs
• Lead daily site meetings, develop look‑ahead schedules, and resolve on-site issues
• Track project progress, generate field reports, and monitor labor costs to support budget control
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients throughout project execution

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience supervising mechanical construction on large commercial or industrial builds
• Proficient in blueprint reading, scheduling tools, and on-site coordination
• Strong safety leadership and quality assurance/control skills
• OSHA 30 certification required; mechanical or trade license preferred
